How to Turn Interview Notes Into a Strong Brand Story
Interview notes are raw material. Here is how to find the narrative hiding inside them.
Start with the part that actually matters.
You do not need polished answers to begin a brand story. You need enough material to find tension, change, belief, and evidence.
Pull out the repeated ideas
Look for phrases or themes that appear more than once. Repetition often points toward what the founder actually believes, even when the interview questions were broad.
Highlight moments that contain emotion, surprise, conflict, or a clear choice.
Separate facts from story
Facts tell you what happened. Story explains why it mattered. A timeline of dates and launches is useful source material, but it becomes memorable only when the reader sees the meaning behind those events.
Build a beginning, middle, and now
A practical structure is: the problem or starting point, the change or learning process, and the way that experience shapes the business today.
Once the narrative is clear, it can be adapted for an About page or a longer founder story.
