Terms of Service.
The basic terms governing Promise Writing projects, payments, delivery, and client responsibilities.
Project scope
Each project is defined by its agreed service, deliverables, source material, deadline, revision scope, and price. Requests outside the agreed scope may require a revised quote or timeline.
Payment
Fixed packages require a 50% deposit through Stripe to begin. The remaining balance is due according to the project agreement. Custom services are priced after scope is reviewed.
Revisions
Included revision rounds depend on the selected package or project agreement. Revision requests should relate to the agreed scope; substantial changes in direction or new deliverables may be quoted separately.
Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate source material, necessary approvals, timely feedback, and any rights or permissions needed for material supplied to Promise Writing.
Essay services
Essay proofreading and writing support is intended to improve or develop a client’s own work and ideas. Clients remain responsible for truthful authorship and for complying with any school, employer, application, or organization rules that apply to their work.
Portfolio use
Client work, names, testimonials, excerpts, and results will not be presented as public portfolio material without appropriate permission or an agreed public-use arrangement.
Cancellation
Cancellation, refund, and rescheduling terms are determined by the project agreement and applicable law. Clients should review those terms before payment.
